ACM AIMS : A Flagship event of IMOBILE ACM Chapter

Given the pandemic situation, it is highly unlikely that we will be able to have an in-person event in Jan’22 — even a hybrid event seems improbable. We believe that the close interaction expected, especially in a workshop that is likely to have a very specific focus, is not possible in a virtual setup.  Hence, after much thought, we have decided to cancel the ACM IMOBILE AIMS’22 workshop.

IMOBILE congratulates Prashanth Mohan, Venkat Padmanabhan and Ramachandran Ramjee (Microsoft Research India) for the SIGMOBILE Test-of-Time AWARD; in recognition of their SenSys 2008 paper : “Nericell: Rich Monitoring of Road and Traffic Conditions using Mobile Smartphones.”
