The ACM Code of Ethics embraces the \u201cvalues of equality, tolerance, respect\nfor others, and the principles of equal justice\u201d. For these reasons, AIMS is\ndedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Harassment is unwelcome or hostile behavior, including\nspeech that intimidates, creates discomfort, or interferes with a person\u2019s\nparticipation or opportunity for participation, in a AIMS event. Harassment in\nany form, including but not limited to harassment based on race, gender,\nreligion, age, color, national origin, ancestry, disability, sexual\norientation, or gender identity, will not be tolerated. Harassment includes the\nuse of gratuitous language or sexual imagery in public presentations and\ndisplays, degrading verbal comments, deliberate intimidation, stalking, harassing\nphotography or recording, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual\nattention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conference participants violating these standards may\nbe sanctioned, expelled from the conference or asked not to attend future\nconferences or conference events, at the discretion of the conference\norganizers and the SIG executive committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you believe you have been harassed or notice that\nsomeone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, you are encouraged\nto report the incident in confidence to either of the workshop co-chairs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The open exchange of ideas and the freedom of thought and expression are central to the aims and goals of AIMS; these require an environment that recognizes the inherent worth of every person and group, that fosters dignity, understanding, and mutual respect, and that embraces diversity.
